This past May 11th the SEPA Soccer Hall of Fame celebrated its 72nd anniversary (1947-2019) in great fashion at its annual banquet. Held at Cannstatter Volksfest-Verein in Northeast Philadelphia and attended by a record crowd of over three-hundred people, the 2019 banquet showcased a combination of the Hall of Fame’s storied history and its place in the future of soccer. As part of this great celebration, we honored two very successful female teams: the PSC Coppa Swarm U14 U.S. Youth Soccer national runners-up and the Women’s Premier Soccer League’s Philly Fever.
Coming from many different soccer backgrounds, the inductees into the Hall of Fame Class of 2019 were:

SPECIAL NOTE: This year’s inductees were honored at halftime at a Philadelphia Union game. All inductees were introduced individually and honored in front of a crowd of over 18,000 fans.
Our annual awards highlighted recent soccer successes along with outstanding commitment to our community. Those receiving these honors were:
Tom Paton Award – Female Player of the Year – Taylor Teal, Philadelphia Academy Charter High School
Bill Peterman Award – Male Player of the Year – Jared Dillon, Roman Catholic High School
Charlotte Moran Award – Coach of the Year (Female Team) –Bree Benedict, Lansdale Catholic High School
John (Jukey) Nanoski Award – Coach of the Year (Male Team) – Randy Garber, Abington Senior High School
Ned Potts Award – Club of the Year – Philadelphia Soccer Club
Harry Rodgers Award – Referee of the Year – EPSARC Philadelphia Referee Chapter
Nick Cinquanto Award – Young Referee of the Year – Jimmy Fallon
Paul Stilley/Little Club Administrator of the Year – Bill Salvatore, Philadelphia Unity Cup Director
Chick Fallon Award – Service to Soccer – Steve Schmidt
