The Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame proudly announces its 2024 inductees, honoring eleven individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport in the region. This year’s class represents a diverse array of talent and dedication, reflecting the rich soccer heritage of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Nicole Barnhart – A celebrated goalkeeper, Barnhart’s career has been marked by excellence at both the collegiate and professional levels. With multiple national team appearances, she has been a stalwart in goal, earning respect and accolades throughout her career.

Elaine Bono – Known for her exceptional coaching skills and dedication to youth development, Bono has been a cornerstone of local soccer programs, inspiring countless young athletes to pursue their passion for the game.

Dave Bontempo – Bontempo’s contributions as a player and coach have left an indelible mark on the local soccer community. His commitment to excellence and sportsmanship has set a high standard for others to follow.

Pat Cain Jr – A dynamic player and influential coach, Cain has been a prominent figure in the soccer scene. His tactical acumen and leadership have guided many teams to success over the years.

David Castellanos – Castellanos has distinguished himself as both a player and a coach. His strategic insights and dedication to player development have been instrumental in advancing the sport in the region.

Bob DiBenedetto – DiBenedetto’s extensive involvement in soccer, from grassroots initiatives to high-level coaching, has made him a beloved and respected figure in the community. His contributions have fostered growth and enthusiasm for the sport.

Frank Duddy – Duddy’s impact on soccer extends beyond the field. His work in organizing and promoting the game has been vital in expanding its reach and popularity in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Dave Jones – A versatile player and knowledgeable coach, Jones has been a key player in the local soccer landscape. His ability to mentor and develop talent has been a cornerstone of his enduring legacy.

Bob Rojahn – Rojahn’s dedication to soccer as a player, coach, and advocate has earned him a place in the Hall of Fame. His efforts have greatly enriched the soccer community and inspired future generations.

Patty McGrail Schiffler – Schiffler’s exceptional skills as a player and her commitment to promoting women’s soccer have made her a trailblazer in the sport. Her legacy continues to inspire young female athletes in the region.

Chris Williams – Williams’ contributions to soccer are manifold. As a player, coach, and mentor, he has consistently demonstrated excellence and passion for the game, leaving a lasting impact on all those he has worked with.

The induction ceremony was held at our annual banquet on May 11, celebrating the achievements and contributions of these outstanding individuals. Their induction into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Soccer Hall of Fame is a testament to their dedication, skill, and enduring influence on the sport of soccer in the region
